Farm Mutual Financial Services (FMFS) provides a wide-range of financial products and solutions to the farming community. As a fully integrated wealth management company, FMFS distributes mutual funds and insurance through a network of branches and financial advisors insuring more than 85% of all farms in Ontario. FMFS is located in Cambridge and is the 4th largest property and casualty insurer in the province.

Growing demands from the field for additional information as well as a growing portfolio of products was applying unsustainable pressure on the head office staff for knowledge transfer and communication tools. As a result, FMFS turned to Intelliware to develop a new portal for the distribution network.

Intelliware was challenged to develop a robust application to replace the existing reference static pages and downloads. Using the i-Proving process a new system was built that allowed internal departments the ability to create, edit, link and organize documentation for their end users. During the transition, Intelliware trained the FMFS staff to use the system which is entirely self-maintained by FMFS without burdensome IT or administrative costs.
