President & CEO
As founder of Intelliware, Greg Betty is an entrepreneur who has shaped the technical expertise and driven the development methodology of the company.
Greg has an MBA from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario. During his time at Ivey, Greg received the Schulich Award for entrepreneurship based on the success of an Intelliware activity-based costing application. At Intelliware, he has led the company through a 20+ year history of growth and profitability. He has been instrumental in leading the company’s technical strategy, in addition to overall business approach.
Greg has been a key resource for helping Intelliware partners manage large strategic projects from both business and technical perspectives. He is an outspoken advocate of Agile development and is an in-demand speaker for business and technical events.
Senior Vice President, Operations & e-Health
Greg is responsible for the operations of Intelliware and leadership of the Intelliware e-Health practice. He joined Intelliware in 1999 following a number of senior management positions in operations, sales, marketing, logistics and procurement with Source Medical Corporation, MDS Inc., Air Liquide Canada Ltd., BOC Gases and Union Gas Limited.
Greg has an MBA from the Ivey School of Business, a Bachelor of Engineering Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Western Ontario and is a registered Professional Engineer. He is also actively involved in a number of charitable and non-profit organizations, is a Director of the Jai Dee (Good Heart) Children's Fund, a charity helping children rise above poverty through education, and is a past Director of the Loyola Arrupe Seniors Centre.
Senior Vice President, Product Ventures
Glen is a seasoned Business Development professional in the IT industry and was previously the Vice President responsible for all new technology solutions for a US line of business at Manulife Financial. He has held senior positions at eLoyalty, GE Capital and Deloitte Consulting where he executed business and technology projects for a variety of global clients. The solutions included deployment of a wide range of enabling technologies including custom built solutions, ERP, CRM, Balanced Scorecard, Call Centre, Supply Chain and Enterprise Networks.
Glen has an MBA from the Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Winnipeg. Glen is a referee in the Canadian Football League and was a member of the 1996 Canadian Olympic Team in Atlanta.
Senior Vice President, Solutions Delivery and Technology
Bruno has contributed to all areas of operations and his influence is evident in the architecture, development and delivery of a wide range of products and applications in the insurance, financial services, health care and technology industries. He continues to guide Intelliware’s technology choices and adoption of object-oriented development languages and open source products.
Bruno has a Mechanical Engineering degree from Kettering University (formerly GMI Engineering Management Institute) in Flint, Michigan where he graduated cum laude. During his time at Kettering, Bruno worked with General Motors where he gained engineering and manufacturing experience as a co-op student. After cycling across Canada in 1988, Bruno pursued entrepreneurial and technological oriented opportunities, leading him to software development and ultimately to be a founding officer of Intelliware.
Chief Financial Officer
Don is an experienced CFO with over 20 years of financial management experience. Don has an undergraduate business degree from the Ivey School of Business and is a Chartered Accountant. He has been the CFO of three small publicly listed technology and medical products companies where he was involved in various financing transactions and acquisitions. Don has also worked for a range of private companies from start-ups to larger multi-nationals.
Vice President, Financial Services
Andrew is an experienced professional manager with expertise in the development and integration of complex business applications. During the last five years, Andrew has worked with a number of Financial Services clients on a wide range of projects and has developed the practice into an industry leader. Andrew has held a variety of positions at Intelliware including Account Manager and Project Manager as well as General Manager of the QStrat division. Andrew has been with Intelliware for over 11 years. Prior to joining the company he consulted to a variety of industries on environmental engineering and management systems. Andrew is a civil engineer and graduated from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Applied Science in 1994. He has been a registered Professional Engineer since 1996.
Vice President, Foundation
Steve is responsible for our Foundation Practice which delivers innovative business solutions for clients in the private and public sectors. Steve has over 25 years experience in the IT Industry and has expertise in delivering mission critical IT solutions to many industries including Manufacturing and Distribution, Education and Government.
Steve‘s experience includes senior IT Management positions in a number of companies, including Magna International. Steve gained international experience with KPMG where he was responsible for growing the IT and Operations Improvement Consulting Practices in Canada and Australia. As the founder of Impletech International, an ERP and lean manufacturing implementation company in the Automotive and Consumer Products manufacturing sectors, Steve successfully delivered business benefits driven solutions that reduced the time and cost of large multi-site technology implementations to companies across North America.
Vice President, Human Resources
Caren has contributed to the creation of a sustainable company culture and her influence is evident in all aspects of the organization. Caren has a Bachelor of Engineering Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia and has been a registered Professional Engineer since 1989. She has been with Intelliware since 1997 and her employee perspective has been imprinted throughout the company.
